Public Transportation 

The public bus transportation service in Honolulu is provided by a bus system, appropriately called simply The Bus, which operates more than 100 routes, throughout Honolulu and outlying areas on Oahu, with a fleet of more than 500 buses.

The regular one-way adult fare for riding The Bus is $2.25, and $1 for children. Visitors can also purchase a 4-day Discovery Pass, for $25, from any ABC Store, which is the Hawaiian version of the 7/11.

From Honolulu International Airport: Head east and take the ramp on the left to I-H-1 E. Keep right at the fork, following the signs for Interstate H1 E/Waikiki/Honolulu, and merge onto I-H-1 E. Take exit 21A for Hawaii 61, toward Pali Hwy. Keep right at the fork, following the signs for HI-61 S/Downtown, and merge onto HI-61 S/Pali Hwy. and continue to follow Pali Hwy (Pali Hwy turns slightly right and becomes Bishop St.). Hawaii Pacific University will b on the right.
